REMINDER – Bulk collection guidelines

The borough contracts annually for a special collection of what is generally called bulk collection. Bulk Items are items too large to fit in a regular trash can, such as rugs, carpeting, and split rail fencing (cannot be more than four (4) feet long and must be rolled and tied into liftable bundles ), furniture, mattresses, household items, etc. Small items should be placed in a bag or container—do not leave loose objects at the curb. Please see the section below for items that NOT be collected in bulk.

IMPORTANT: YOU CANNOT DELIVER THE BULK ITEMS ABOVE TO THE DPW COURT! THEY MUST BE CURBED TO BE COLLECTED BY THE WASTE COMPANY.

All disposal materials should be placed curbside, separated from normal household waste, grass, brush recyclables, before 2 a.m. on the MONDAY designated for your area. While the actual collections will take more than a day in a given area, once the truck collection finished in your street, it will NOT come back.
